Hourou Musuko will probably be the sleeper hit of the season. It’s completely original, controversial, an interesting plot, and complex characters. Just making a record of my prediction for future reference.

The style, plot, and theme are all very reminiscent of Gantz. In fact I’d say that this might be what Gantz would’ve been like if it were a comedy.

I agree. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so much pity for Otaku before. It’s just plain sad, honestly.
