Panzerkampfwagen IV Status: 90% complete. The cannon turret was the hardest to assemble, and PLATZ's instruction manual was ambiguous in the places where everything had to be precise. The Dengeki Hobby mag I got a couple of days ago was a godsend, as it had pic references of the places I needed clarification for.

Also started building the G&P Panzerkampfwagen IV plamo. It’s not easy since more than half the parts are tiny and everything requires adhesive, meaning downtimes for drying and curing are necessary.

So far I’ve assembled the wheels, part of the hull and finished painting the treads.

Finished all eps of Let's & Go Max.

The ending was kinda disappointing, but better that both lead characters end on equal footing. (all their subsequent races tied after the M1 meet).

Out of all the supporting characters, Majima Sagyou was the most interesting. He's usually cool and speaks in standard tongue, but when he gets angry, his eyes open and suddenly switches to Kansai-ben speech.

Yes, the ears are ginormous, I know. That applies to all characters as per Tatsuhiro Koshita's style.

I just can't wrap my head around how much Galgun and Gakuoh posters have been plastered around certain scenes so far during the whole run. Akihabara, Ariake, the school clubroom, etc.

Love how this game has a practical Yuri arc if you play as the female character.

Tried the Revelations demo myself. Having to use a scanner on every nook and cranny to find items and stuff is a bit of a pain.

I preferred the 4th game's in a box/barrel/flashing in plain sight approach.

I generally prefer RPGs and Galges. Tried it since I've been out of touch with the US-developed gaming scene for years. Gave it a chance, but it fell short of what I was expecting from something that a lot of people were raving about. The story was fine, but it pretty much stuck with the "almost everybody dies" formula and there were a ton of inconsistencies and unresolved points that are more than enough for a top ten list.

The future of Japanese games may be uncertain now since a lot of the major devs are choking up, but they still generally churn out better stuff than this poor "award winning" excuse for a choose-your-own-adventure game.

I reckon your exposure to Japanese games is merely limited to the localized BS that was crapped on with censorship, omissions, partial/full Americanization and poor voice acting.

On topic: Finally Platted Gundam Extreme Versus. That final Newtype Challenge seemed nigh-impossible, but I got lucky since I was able to corner them with the ZZ's High Mega Cannon a couple of times.

I’ve recently started watching the Devil Survivor 2 anime adaptation.

It’s pretty cool, but the “giving the main character a powerful demon from the get-go” clause was kinda off-putting.

It would have been better if Hibiki was given base level demons, but knows how to bring out their full potential in battle.

Returned to Mugen Souls Z after finishing the mess that was "The Walking Dead"

Finished conquering the 12 worlds and their respective dungeons, all that's left is a total grindfest for World Of Awakening.

Got my party characters to Level 2000+ but it still wasn't enough to last even one combat turn with the Awakening boss. will try to hit 3k~4k tomorrow since it's my off day.

Got some good no-sub torrents of Let’s & Go WGP and MAX. Been wanting to watch those for years.

Stupid local station only aired the first season back then.

Now if only I can find my old Mini-4WD box…

Aside from gameplay nicovids, the only non-anime show I’ve been watching so far is Kamen Rider Wizard.

Tried “The Walking Dead” for the PS3.

Finished it and was left puzzled as to why it’s being hailed as a masterpiece by the critics. It’s practically a buggy melding of Clock Tower and House Of The Dead.

It also baffles me how the so-called “walkers”, with supposedly brittle, rotting constitutions are able to tear through living flesh like butter…

…but then again I can’t complain too much about a practically effortless platinum, plus I got the BD game for used price.

Can’t see myself playing it again though.

TCGs. Pretty much like Yu-Gi-Oh but mainly displaying anime-specific images and characters.

I've heard that Weiβ Schwarz (one of Bushiroad's TCG lines) is getting an English language adaptation starting with the Madoka Magica series part.

On an unrelated note, my daki cover orders finally arrived. Save for Akarin, majority of them are double-sided with an NSFW part.
