There are way more anime made for males than females. If it was the other way around, it’s not unlikely that guys would react the same way after finally seeing something for their target audience.

I think what the author of the rant means is taking a girl on a date while reaching the place by a crowded train is a mood killer. And that trains are public while using a car instead would be more… personal, I guess?
