Most Filipinos I know believe in evolution, which is interesting given than 85% of the Philippines considers themselves “Catholic”. My wife, a Filipino nurse, believes in evolution.

I agree — there are a lot of free-thinkers in Texas (I am one), but if you go outside of major cities, there are a LOT more closed-minded people out there than I would care to think about.

One of the things I find most amusing about creationists is that they believe that we, humans, are the pinnacle of evolution. No, we are STILL evolving and won’t ever stop.

Don’t prove the story in a book by pointing to the same book. If that were the case, I can prove that Harry Potter exists by pointing to one of several books written about him, sold world-wide, and “worshipped” by teenagers.

Evolution IS proven. It’s NOT a religion. It’s a way of describing physical phenomena that is readily observable.

They’re already doing that… and South Korea too. As you might imagine, quality goes in the toilet too. “You get what you pay for” is applicable here.

Expiration date? Maybe some women expire at 26, but most Asians don’t… including my wife. She’s 30 and gets asked if she’s 16-18 all the time.
