The OVA was merely an embodiment of currently known information on BRS into anime.

Did all those disappointed viewers forget this is a ”Pilot Edition”, a testing version before they start on anything major like a possible series, despite the awesome animation quality found in an OVA?

Glad to see there’s at least some other people that understood what the OVA was. That’s what I went into it expecting, that’s what I got. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
