Yes there is, it doesn't stress your hands half as much. Pretend to be holding a camera and look at your hands, they will be bending backwards. With that camera you wouldn't have to stress that joint making it easier on you for bigger lengths.
When you hold a camera to look at videos/previews how do you hold the camera? Think about it.
