please define it for me so i know what it is. i see it used so often to describe shows, that i want a definition that i can point to.

That is soo cute and is only the second thing in my life to have the word moe running through my head. Only once have i ever utterred it outloud in it's intended use. Now if only i could recall what did that.
But overall yeah anything can be moe just depends on the person. For instance to hitler a giant pile of burning jew corpses might be moe.

I always tough to myself that moe anime are titles that the only appealing thing are the cute characters, so they don't bother making a good plot, situations, personalities for the characters, drama or comedy.
The best example would be my most hated anime/manga of all time ( in MY personal opinion ) Lucky Star.
That anime doesn't have plot, good situations, good characters, comedy,drama... nothing! But its cute so people watch it! And for me that's what moe is.

Yes, Lucky Star is a tough opponent :) I had to watch K-ON and Eva2.0 (right, it's the biggest moe shit I watched so far) first to be able to watch Lucky Star. And you have to go through ep.1 that is extremely concentrated pure boredom and stupidity - especially because that boring bitch Miyuki - you wish you would have a magic eraser to erase her from the show.

i want a definition because people keep calling anime moe anime (not moe style) and all i can think of why they would say that is they never watch it, or they realy think that people only like it because it has characters that move and are animated in a moe style.
