   Okay as the topic says what weapons do you prefer though what i mean is what type. Do you like heroes who use melee or heroes who use ranged.

   I'm a melee man myself most of the games you'll find in my library are either rpgs games like god of war darksiders and so on mecha games where i tend to melee more often than not. There are exceptions like games by Insomniac such as ratchet and clank or the occasional fps(i only own 6 that i can think of out of about 50+ games).

   Part of it is that i just don't like guns even in rl if and or when i learn to hunt i'll be usinga bow. I consider them to be for the weak. While the visceral combat of getting up close and personal cleaving enemies apart with neither side TRULY having an advantage just suits me.

   Oh yeah i'm intentionally excluding magic from this though honestly i'm a battle mage fan more than anything melee and magic as one is just kickass.

   I much prefer melee, but i do like the occasional ranged as long as its magical. I don't much care for the "gun" types in games that have swords/hammers/melee weapons and magic.

   I don't really know i just do. I should probably clarify that since i was a kid i've had traits that would commonly have been found in say knights or warriors of old such as a sense of honor and chivalry so to me guns go against that concept. They also make it so a person can't really have a fair duel or keep enemies at bay instead of staring them in the face when either they kill you or you kill them, and again i have a fair number of ancient traits built in.

   In all honesty i've NEVER been overly fond of guns things like jets maybe but never guns i always preffered the warrior who would fight bare handed if he had to. And in truth i have abit of that as well. Not that mist people ever get to see it since i've had to find ways to keep that side of me under control.

   So i guess it's that i'm more drawn to one relying on their own stregnth than that of outside seeing as i also like magic more than guns.

   But overall i just don't it's really hard to describe other than they lack honor and seem to be for the weak.

   Not for me. For instance even when i wind up playing halo with my friend i'll always take the hammer or the weapon with the blad and melee. There are exceptions but if i can get a melee weapon i'll use it instead even if i'm ata disadvantage. Hmm i really need to get a screencap from seto no hanayome with the honor under the seas bit going.

   as a kid im pretty sure that you wouldnt have trait of a knight or warrior......... more likely to scream and attack random objects because you think your cool..........
   Other than that, i'd say melee weapon since guns are for pussies. Why? because anyone can click a trigger. But to learn a specific art form takes years.

    i never said i trained or anything i was born with an instinct to fight as well as a concept of honor. I also never attacked anything consciouly. If i was pushed beyond my breaking point i'd snap and my subconcious would intercede with 3 words running throughout.

    Survive

    Protect

    Destroy

    Or in other words

    Survive at all cost

    Protect that which must be protected

    Destroy all threats

    It wasn't until later that i even had a few memories of those moments originally i just blacked out and came to feeling horrible knowing i'd hurt someone. Eventually i started remebering what i'd done in sort of snapshots always as if i was looking out from within my own body. Nowadays i've had it happen enough that i can for the most part retain control and stay sane but it took years to get to that point.

    So no i've always had traits of a warrior as well as a concept of honor. Hell even as a kid i couldn't lie or hurt someone when myself. Course i'm not gonna go into even HALF the weird shit that came with that side.

    I also don't really expect you to belive me since you seem like one of those people who has to see and or experience something to belive it.

    EDID damn keyboard heh i really should geta new external one for this damned laptop.

    For pussies? Maybe. But all those years perfecting said art form would be a waste if that person when up against an experienced gun user. I'd imagine it would look something like this.

    LOL the irony is it was his conceit that lead to that one. If he'd used his obvious speed advantage instead of showing off he could have done something.

    Besides better to die with honor than reduce yourself to such a weapon in my mind.

    Well maybe in modern times but put him up against a martial artist from say 200 years ago even and he'd probably go down.

    Ironically humasn are losing natural strength as of recent generations. We've bread for intelligence to such a degree that our natural stregnth has started going down. Well in most people at least. Some people like myself can still buld muscle without even trying and i gotta say it's a right curse. I wanna be weak so i don't have to be scared of myself should i go completely insane again.

    EDIT i just realized some may take my statements the wrong way and assume i think i'm some kind of superhuman truth is while i do have many advantages i also have many problems such as a weak gut prone to random bouts of diahrea as well as being prone to exhaustion after pushing myself i also have a very hard time with being around people for extented periods all very big problems.
