  1. I got the idea of this topic when I posted in the Real Life Otaku Moments topic.

I used to love Sakura Card Captors, I couldn't get enough of that show when I was like 14 or something. . . nowadays I'm 21 and just saw it again this year. . . And its awful!

The stories are as boring as an story can get! Most of the time the characters are just cooking, cleaning the house, going to school and having fun doing a lot of thins that would be really boring to any person with brain! ( They even like going to school! )

The characters so fucking bland! Everybody is happy, perfect and love everybody and everything that surrounds them! Seriously, everybody in that anime is perfect! I can't really thing of a big flaw in any of the characters! Maybe Sakura is kind of clumsy but that's it

That one and Bleach. . . I used to think that Bleach was an amazing anime with a good story. . . but now I realize that it doesn't have a plot at all! Most of the time the characters are either Fighting, Training or Explaining their techniques and transformations.

Not to mention that we are meant to believe that Origime was in love with Ichigo the whole time! They introduce that falling in love thing at the last minute so it looks more dramatic for her going with Aizen, which by the way is the most generic bad guy ever!

Not to mention how many characters have the same clothes and even some of them the same face! Look in the pic Ichigo, Rengi ( the red haired guy ) and Ikaku ( the bald guy )

So yeah, what are some animes that you used to love but now you totally hate ( it can be from when you were a kid or from a couple of months ago, it doesn't matter )

Only saw the Card Captors variant. The uncut version sounds a lot like slice of life.

I want to watch it now.

    As for me: Noozles.

In my case, I stopped watching right after they saved Rukia. At the time I was reading the manga and a friend who had downloaded every episode up to that point burned me a copy of it (I think around ep 120 at the time). So after they saved Rukia I was all WTF?! the fuck is a bount or however you spell that?!

So I looked online and realized that bleach had gone from a good story that could've ended gread, into a pile of filler and disposable characters and ghey n00bishness. So I kicked it to the curve.

  7. CONGRATULATIONS
Now quit bitching about how everything is crap and find other shit you enjoy.

You watched way too much anime at once and now you've burned yourself out. In your case you set yourself on fire after you doused yourself in gasoline and sat in a tub of gunpowder, and I take it you never listened to my advice.

I wouldn't call it that. When anime is new to you, EVERYTHING is awesome regardless of what it is.
As you get older, something that looked like this when you were young:

Looks like this when you are older:

  10. From the back of my head.

Bleach, i still like the first arc, after that it totally went to shit.

One Piece, no idea why i ever liked it.

Nabari no Ou, Instead of ninja action you get yaoi and a let's all be friends plot. I still love Raimei though.<3

K-ON!, I loved it a year ago, just rewatched it recently and i really can't watch it anymore. No idea why i loved it so much. I must have been blinded by all the moe crap. It's really boring. Not something you can watch twice that's for sure. *activates flame shield*

I thought it was alright when it came out. Not one of those shows you ever watch again. Hell, I haven't watched K-On!! since episode 2.

  14. The old transformers cartoon, although it did rock my socks when I was 5.

DBZ, does that really need an explanation...

    Bleach and Naruto.

K-on, oh wait, I never liked that crap...

  17. Thanks /a/ for opening up my eyes, I never noticed the stupid kurosaki kun crap, nor the story. ALSO Hitsugaya sucks major balls, I never saw the hype, I don't think his cool. He Loses almost every fight, and plus Everytime I see him fight - disgraceful to the ice element, useless shit. *all the movies sucked* I only liked the OST for Memories of Nobody.

Please excuse the grammar and immature language, I'm done ranting now

  19. I also tough of one thing in Bleach. . . Ichigo's dad said that he has to train for the last technique for about 4000 days ( wow the drama ) and that 4000 days in the hueco mundo or whatever only represents one hour in the real world. . . so when Orihime left. . . they didn't went after her in the same moment! Even if they did in the same day that she left, at least a couple of hours had been passed, so Orihime should be a lot older by the time they go to rescue her right?

Unless I'm missing something. . . either way they ripped off that from Dragon Ball Z

  20. Oddly enough there aren't animes that I dislike now that I didn't already dislike when I was younger. Well, I lied if pokemon counts now that I think about it.

I actually saw a lot of really good animes when I was first getting into it so I had pretty high expectations for all new series that I came across for a long time. It was kind of a shock when I realized that not all anime was amazing.
