   I've been searching for nice anime hairstyles for some of my OCs (for a self-made manga I'll start in a future), and have begun to wonder what makes a hairstyle feminine or girly. So, I set up this poll for you to fill in.

   There's a bald female celebrity where I live. She doesn't look masculine a single bit. 100% woman. Not that I think it looks too good.

   I don't think hair specifically is something that defines men or women. It's pretty much the same on either sex and both sexes can do with it what they like. The long-short, volume-thin, wavy-spiky, accessorized-unaccessorized contrapositioning is probably just something that became the norm over time.

   Things such as build, jawline, hands are better things to go by.

   when the hair emphasizes with the face. there are girls outsite they have long hair coz they think its girly/feminin but after changing to a short hairstyle they look awesome +10

   same with guys some look better with long hairstyles

   I used to have short hair, but i let it grow out the past 2 years. I get so many compliments about how i look with longer hair.

    It depends. . . the hair alone can't determine of the girl looks girly or not . . .

    I mean, most people would think that short haired girls don't look as girly as long haired girls . . . but I don't think so. . . If a girl acts like a tomboy and wears manly clothes, that would make her look less girly regardless of the hair

    I've actually seen that on a guy, but you wouldn't know it was a guy.
