Ok, I have a problem posting my meaningless opinions on SC it's horrible right, that I can't post and contribute vainly with you all? I know there is lag for comments to post and Artefact has stated this. The problem is if my comments are longer than a sentence they sometimes lag for 10-15 minutes or even not post at all. Why is this and is anybody having this problem?

well i get what you mean...sometimes after posting my comment it never appear on the list..but it rarely happened though

Do you mean just on the news articles, or the forums as well? Because that's one of the reasons I don't comment on articles anymore.

If they were "meaningless opinions", perhaps you posted comments inclusing such phrases as "TLDR" or "inb4"? Messages like that get stuck in a spam filter.

Also I don't think SC has an advanced spam filter that autonomously decipher spam, isn't that what commenters do with the democracy system stipulated and all?

Non, I'm quite sure certain words are filtered. And of course your opinion has value when it's the fundamentals of an interesting discussion.

Even if my comment or anyone's comment pertains to the social paradigm of the specific discussion. It can still be vain it's a matter of perspective. Even though people are replying to the topic seriously it doesn't mean their comment has value. Actions speak louder than words, no you are not contributing anything sitting on your ass using the comment section on SC as an outlet to express your intellectual thoughts in response to a topic. I'm referring to serious news articles not ones about seiyuu and anime figures or 2ch propaganda.
