new darker than black

  1. set for spring 2011!!

im so psyched that there making a new season. im hoping this one will be a full 24 episode season instead of the 12 main and 4 ova.

so anyone have any theories on whats gonna happen in the new season?

im hoping suou will be back and that there will be a lot of her pussy getting pounded until it squirts juices everywhere.

  2. Cant say im really looking forward to it.
S2 just sucked so much ass compared to the first one.
    Gaiden was great though.

  3. Third season? Oh god damnit. They fucked up the ending to the second one bad enough. I actually grew to like Suou and July, and then they pull the HURR DURR ALTERNATE DIMENSION HAPPILY EVER AFTER bullshit on me.

I'm still trying to figure our the connected plot from the first season, gaiden and second season. It was so muddled that I had the hardest time trying to follow it; it felt like they were making it up as they went along for stretches in the first and second season.

Despite this, I know I'll end up watching it anyway. OTL

  6. The Deus ex machina ending in S2 left a bad taste in my mouth. Can't say I'm excited about a 3rd

  7. S2 dosent have a "bad" ending it just could have been better. suou was put on a fake earth created by shion with the memories of all the people who had had ME used on them.
they dont come out and say it but since the "moon" is in "space" or whatever the fake sky is, she can maintain her memories there since its surrounded by meteors.
at least thats how i understood it.

the only thing that made no sense to me was the boy at the end with the white hair ho killed the CIA team. im guessing hes izanagi, but he could be something else entirely.

hopefully S3 will answer some questions kinda like gaiden made S2 much better.

id laugh if suou comes back after finding out where she is. that kinda would ruin it for me if they didnt do it right.

  10. Source please. I haven't heard anything about this, and if you saw it from some random chart it's probably fake.

Considering how Ryusei no Gemini ended, I wouldn't put it past them to make a third season. Thing is, it's starting to look like Code Geass plot-wise where they're pulling twists out of their ass so they can continue to make more money off it. The concept of the series itself felt like it would have been better expressed through a short first season compared to what we have now.

  13. Deus ex Machina is a plot device whereby a seemingly inextricable problem is suddenly and abruptly solved with the contrived and unexpected intervention of some new character, ability, or object.

so ur saying the moon/shions ability was used as a DXM? i thought it mae sense that shion wanted his sister to be happy and sacrificed himself to make it happen. and suou had no effect whatsoever on yin and heis story besides getting hei to quit drinking and dying in order to give his powers back.

  15. That chart looks fake. I haven't heard a darn thing about Gundam Seed or a Ghost in the Shell 3. :/

The biggest problem I had with S2 was it didn't seem to know where it wanted to go. A lot of things didn't make sense and a lot of questions we had about the whole mythology of the entire franchise. It focused more on Suou and her family and those were characters I felt I wasn't interested in to begin with. I wanted to know more about Hei but they made him extremely lame by making him emo and stripping him of his powers. They literally wrote themselves into a wall and they had to contrived that ending where "SHION"S POWERS FIXES EVERYTHING LOL!" rendering the season meaningless filler. DXM. It's like watching an entire season of another show and the whole turn of events ends up being a dream.

The show worked better when it was like an scifi espionage thriller. It was like the Bourne Identity with fucking powers and shit. If they can touch on more of the mythos and retain that then I'll enjoy it once more. A Darker than Black Gaiden would work though.
