I don't mind, at first I thought 13 eps was too short, but the ending did it some justice, seems like any more eps and it would have just been boring.

I think a few more episodes would have covered the series as a great one. I mean, if you watched Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, the last episode portrayed like a total of 7 episodes. I'm not too sure but I think rushing the series to end is just not right.

They could make much much more of it - Shina, TenshiXOtomashi, Yurihi ... If they would make it better then even 26 ep. wouldn't be enough and it would still be good. Tenshi could beat K-ON without problems - if you would give her a better chance :)

I teared up, but didn't cry or anything.
I think more than 13 I would of gotten bored with the series, unles they did something more interesting with it.
It didn't really have anything about a key anime that makes it good, like the well developed characters that eventually suffer some kind of bad fate.
I mean, it focused on that loli a little, but who the hell was she? She suddenly becomes a main character for like 1 episode.

The ending to me covered enough and did it rather well not like say venus vs virus where i felt they just dropped it without even a partial attempt to finish it. As for angel beats yeah i need to watch that but i think i'll wait for the dvds to get subbed.

I watched Angel Beats myself as well I can understand why the had to go 13 episodes I remember everyone was bashing Yuri Nakamura for looking like Haruhi Suzumiya It was laughable when Artafact shows us.
The Manga is still ongoing so go ahead and find out when they will release the manga.

I cried at the end as well. I also had a very teary moment on the scene with Hinata and Yui at the baseball field.

I did cry too.
And the little glimpse into the future lifes of the characters didn't make me cry less since it was more like the future of some other people. Without memories they aren't the same persons. :/
It felt like they just gave up and surrendered to nothingness...About the lenght of the anime, well, it had to be that short I guess. It was meant to be something like an advertisement for the novels after all.
