    No. We can't represent our entire ethnicity 1 and that is the appeal. I find tan skin and bright feathery hair attractive on Asian women. It shows me they think a lot more of themselves than to feel the need to have the snow white skin to be appealing. But then like I stated IN MY SECOND POST WHICH YOU PURPOSELY NEGLECTED, I not sure if what I'm talking about can be labeled as ganguro but it was a part of this concept conceived by a priestess which name I still cannot recall.

    I kinda side with vicious,...

    though as far as I'm concerned, cute is cute. Although a little tan or some colour is always preferable to milky pale any day.
    Well is just shows that she isn't afraid of going out in the sun to appreciate what the "outside" is like - from time to time.

    Unlike certain blood sucking creatures of the night that never venture out of their lairs,....

    As a black person who researched the ganguro, I can honestly say: NO!

    It's, in my opinion, Japan's extreme version of Lady Gaga. But I like those girls in the pictures I highlighted.

    I like all 4 - including Anti's scene suggestion...

    Gyaru is very feminine, sexy and some parts of it classy - since most of these girls afford their clothes by hostess jobs...
    Gyaru-o, the male counterpart is stylish imo...Some of my fav GAV actors are gyaru-o lol

    Ganguro doesn't appeal to me as a style but I find it interesting...I have the same relationship to decora...

    Uljjang - regardless of photoshop, make-up or surgery - looks cute and in some cases even sexy...Plus uljjang boys feed my inner fujoshi <3

    Scene and emo I count as the "Western netidol community" since they pretty much do the same cam whoring as uljjangs^^ Emo/scene boys look really cute^^ I became a fan of "emo boys kissing" vids on youtube for a while, my delicious days XD
