Comic Market 78 - Anybody going? Recommended circles?

  1. Well, it's now time for the comiket again.

Due to the circumstances, I will only be able to go on day 2 (Saturday), but it's going to be great.

My first recommendation is the circle my friends have. They have a fully voiced 3D touhou fighting game. Also they have a Mari eroge which was featured on the main site some time ago. Unfortunately they don't have new stuff for this comiket.

I may have one or two things in there as well (if I can manage to finish them)

    Circle name: CUBETYPE
    Day: 2 (Saturday)
    Space: pe-30 (east hall)

I haven't seen where the circles I'm interested in are, but I will post that as soon as I know it.

    Any recommendations? Anybody else going?

  2. Ah CUBETYPE is the newest fighting game with the battle system similar to Gundam? I remember it having huge balancing issues, but it was fun neverthless.

  3. Mh, it was a nice idea, but they really should have skipped that huge yukkuri at the end. ~_~
So...if anyone got a savefile after unlocking Remi&Flan please upload. *cough*

I don't really understand what you mean with "balancing issues", but if you want to send them some constructive criticism, I know the developers of that game pretty well, so I can send the message for you. They'll be really glad to take it.

  5. Wanna go to comiket someday T_T
atm I might plan to go 2 or 3 years in the future. Depends on when my companion is going.

Well for a start, I only finished the game once. But what I noticed was that Sakuya has really low defence, you can kill her with 2 laser beams.. Next is these laser beams that Reimu and some others use, you can beat whole game just spamming them really. So while playing with friends you just end up taking same characters to not have unbalanced gameplay.

But as a programmer, tell them this "Great job, I know how hard it must been to create game like this from start to finish. I got the game and enjoyed it, so make sure you give yourselfes a good applaud"

  7. I want to get my hands on some doujin over there, but I do have to ask a question in relation to this - how awkward would it be for a woman to go into the presumed "male" section and buy doujin/eroge games?

    Probably not at all.
    You forget that fujoshi exist.

Alot of circle artists are woman too.

Fujoshi apply to yaoi fangirls and the like, inside my head.
Though with what you said in mind, it makes me feel a bit better when I (might) eventually go and snag some doujin for my collection. They only import the mainstream BL doujins to my local convention. D:

Fujoshi does mainly mean yaoi fangirls, but you know some of the stuff in yaoi.
Sometimes its far more extreme than in normal doujins.
I think you would get weirder looks being a boy in the fujoshi section of natsucon.

  11. When you go to a table to browse through some porn, and everyone around you is there for the same thing, there's a sense of camaraderie in that. No need to be shy about it, just charge forward!

    This.

Like when I went to the onsen and had to get naked with a bunch of other guys.
At first I was shy, but eventually it just became a bunch of guys enjoying being naked in water hot enough to cause most enzymes to denature.

No one will pay attention to you at all, since they are doing exactly the same thing.
I felt weird at first being naked with everyone, but I would feel weirder if the onsen was completely empty.

  13. Now you have me picturing Comiket being held at an onsen.

All those fat, hairy men crushed together wearing teeny tiny towels, buying porn.
Think of all the awkward boners that'd ensue.

In a way that thought should be sexier than it is.

    I know, right?
Someone should recommend this idea to the bara artists like Mentaiko so they can make this a reality.

You'll notice that the comiket started as an almost only-women event. Now, depending on the day and place, you will see between 30% and 60% women.

Also, there are lots of female artists for the male oriented doujin.

  17. They are all the same circle jerk so there would be no point in recommendations.

That would be one hell of an awesome circle to produce so much for each comiket
