Cause this kinda stuff would probably be considered as some kind of illegal "Erotic game involving minors" and arrest everybody who's even glanced at the cover of the game. Or at least in North America.

Because the Feminist groups in America are stronger then in Japan... So I think. All they do is complain and complain about every little thing, even if its not sexist. I bet they love Femdom ;D

A game like that would probably get a lot of bad rep. Not sure if it'll have the "Erotic game involving minors" problem, since the girl seems to have large breasts. But if I know Nippon Ichi, there's gotta be at least one loli-like character. Then you'll also have the problem from feminists as it probably encourages sexual abuse.
Mind if I complain about other games?
Games I want in the US:
Love Plus - lots of text makes the game hard to play. At least there's people trying to translate it
Super Robot Taisen OGs(PS2) - Don't know why this didn't get localized. It doesn't have the licensing problems of other SRT games since atlus already released the SRT:OGs for the GBA. It's just upgraded graphically. (still waiting on atlus to announce SRT:OGEF Exceed)
Sakura Taisen - Wish there were more(just 1 US release, 5 years after it's initial Japan release...)

I'm getting this bastard thank god for region free. It shall be mine pricey off yesasia but soo worth it.
EDIT i should add that in my opinion we don;t get games like that cause all MOST americans seem to want are gangster or military sims. Btw by that i mean halo and it;s trillion brothers and grand theft auto type games oh and sports games. Myself i like SOME first person shooters but more the one man hero types like metroid prime and resistance.

To call it no effort is going a little far, in this age of HD gaming. They still had to make character designs, do voice acting, animate everything...
The plot seems a little hackneyed, but Damn....If it's Nippon Ichi I'll probably trust it until I see proof that it's crap with my own eyes.

Actually in some recent studies by gaming publishers like ACTIVITION (Satan's game publisher) they found that many western games prefer not female leads. So many publishers have been scrapping ideas for female leads.
Thats probably also why the only time you see a female as a main character who is not the love interest is usually because its a game from Japan.
Though its mostly all speculation.
