I think they're trying to kick all of us out the fourms and move into the group fourms...
It's all a guess though... *Shrugs*
but I still can't shake off the feeling of being pushed in some direction

They don't seem to understand that the group fourms are impractical for casual discussion.
For starters, you need to be a member of the group.

How about someone makes a group exclusively for random disscusion?

I wasn't on my pc.... I was on a fathers friend Buisness PC.. They're pretty open about what porn they watch, so they leave their hotlinks out in the open...
Also I would never have such a plain desktop setup on my PC
Besides I run vista on my pc not windows XP...(see post desktop thread for sources)

Hmm... It looks like you played right into their hands...
But you know, I guess a general discussion group might be alright. At least all the members who are willing to just have a laid back discussion would join, I guess.
But yeah, I remember we used to direct some of the new users to the Your Day thread to get to know everyone a little better and such. And undeniably, sometimes the general discussion would lead to far more profound and deep discussion that would have never occurred anywhere else. I was pretty happy with the talk I had with Rawr in the Hangout Thread, for example.
Ah well. It's time for me to join that group. C: Let's go.
