^ This is true.
I know that I answered the question (already) as you both well know...
However, I should explain the sequence, so those can understand the effort placed into the listing.
Colour-coding ~
1. Once the claim is given, its processed, depending on time it can be straight-away (or) it can be a few moments to a days time (depending)
2. The New claim is colour-coded in - RED - and placed within a space/speration for easy identifying for the member who made the claim.
3. when a new claim is made by another member, then the old claim is revereted back to black, while the new one is signified by the RED.
Dating ~
The dates are placed in - BOLD BLACK - on the date that the claim was made, this is a new effort started last year to assist with the listing.
Each claim - MUST HAVE A DATE - if its not present it shall be eliminated from the listing.
Verification ~
Each year a - 'ROLL CALL/MUSTER' - is placed for ALL Husbando's/Waifu's to check in (basically) to see who is active verses inactive. - the listing required (active) members to have a Waifu/Husbando (this is a new ruling)
This is given a few days/week for the person to respond. - If no response is given within the alloted time-frame, then that claim is considered null and void, and is deleted from the listing.
Checks and Standards ~
There's a member who assists with the checking of spellings, name sync of the listing, and that is sent to me via PM and the names are then changed properly.
Western/Eastern names ~
The request must always be made in the eastern configuration (Japanese) if the character is Japanese in origin. - (however) - in some cases the name of the character is obviously a western version, so the Americanized naming then takes effect. (ie as in the case of ichi's waifu and husbando)
GRANDFATHERING ~
Those who are Veteran members and are originals have been allowed (at that time) to have 2 or more Waifus's (plus) in addition some concubines.
This is no longer allowed. - due to past issues and problems
Grandfathering of is allowed for those to keep the multi-waifu's (only after) they have personally communicated with me on a daily basis. - If they don't, then those extra's are removed.
This is a given perk (given) only to the veterans who are - BLUE - in colour and have multi-waifu's - from the very start.
This offer is not to be confused with those wanting to add this perk as an add on, or those who want to add extras (because) they are veterans, they are not allowed this offer.
Why the Rules and Standards ~
Previously, in the beginning - there was/were NO RULES!
When all this originally started, there was influx of claiming, where everyone started to claim left and right, random character, objects, and items (as well as) wanting to join in different new formulated family's and linages.
This soon became problematic and the some simple rules were in-place to control the drama and fighting.
However, it too became a clusterfuck (plain and simple) and the issues became more apparent concerning - 'hoarding'- of characters, which didn't give any new members a chance to make a claim, which was unfair, so it was changed for those to make a claim easier.
The rules are for a reason, which (of course) caused much controversy in the beginning, but it is now a standard which will be followed with no exceptions!
I hope that this entry will help those understand the process as well explained a little bit on how it is processed.

Deth, might I make a suggestion?
(I shall hereafter refer to waifus and husbandos with the single term spousu, to save time and typing.)
Although the spousu listing as it is now (user/spousu format) is fine for keeping track of which user has claimed which spousu, it is difficult for a user without a spousu to determine which spousus are unclaimed.
What I propose is a reverse listing, that is in the form of spousu/user.
This would make it easier for users to find out if their desired spousu is available or already taken.
It should cut down on posted claims for spousus already taken.
Depending on thread activity, it should only have to be updated every 2 to 4 weeks.
A link to the last updated reverse listing could be provided at the end of every updated regular listing.
I hope my suggestion is useful.

They can just go to the most recent list and use their browser find to search if the spousu of their choice is taken.

Is there a reason why my claim has not been accepted yet? I claimed Ayane from Nagasarete Airantou, in case you don't remember. If it was accepted, then why wasn't I in the latest list that Deth posted?

I should also note that some of the dates are indicative to the (Original and Secondary) Family TREE's ONLY and not the same for those who have/have not joined the SCFTG.
1. You CAN NOT join the - 'Original Family Tree' - configuration, that is FROZEN FOREVER!
2. You can join the Secondary Family Tree - however - due to changes in GENI - it is in Temp status currently. ~ and it's usually connected to the SCFTG. - which is inclusive to those members who are DEDICATED to the HIGHEST to their Waifu's/Husbando's.
Many members - did not wish to join the Trees or SCFTG - so those dates will be added lastly and doesn't mean that they're any less important.
