OK! Here's what I'm going to do. I'm will do The Tourney with the 5 this year as an experiment. Moderation of that Tourney however, will be in place under my hands. If this one is a success with popularity, I'll make it a permanent fixture. If not, next year will be back to the old setup. If by demand and suggestion we rotate the two, I'll do that too.

I am confused. Why is there a need for two separate tourneys? Also I'm too lazy to read the last few pages of this thread to understand why.
Anyway I still don't understand the point of having a waifu tourney with people who don't have waifus... I mean can you even say there are people who want to participate that are in this category anyway? It just seems pretty pointless.

I understand his need for expanding the Tourney... as I can see the benefits which (may) result from that...
Correct me if I am wrong Sir in the following, as I want to be sure I am following and we are on the same sheet of music....
Hence, he is going to have a (single) Tourney, which (only) involves 5 participants, who will have a adopted/assigned Waifu in order to participate.
However, the Waifu's in question will not be taken from the active listing, nor will any Husbando's.
I believe, KHAN, wants to choose those Waifu's accordingly from a set pool of adoptive candidates, and once chosen will start Tourney (as an experiment) to see the results from it, and see if it warrants being added/melded into the MAIN Tourney, which composes of the actual Waifu's/Husbando's
Correct?

Pick a theme, make them all post something, the one with the least votes dies. Didn't we do something like that last year already cause they were 3 of us left?

You can have a tournament - its just going to be really short - unless you leave voting for the winners to a specific period of voting by non participants and random lurkers.
Then it will take as long as it will need to take.
Even with a mere 5 paticipants.
I will only be one of those lurkers because In a couple days I will be disconnecting & packing up my PC for storage.

Either I or you interpreted it wrong. I interpreted it as the tourney with the usual makeup of members with Waifu/Hubando but in the mix of only 5 participants with adopted partners.
