I don't know how the waifu/husbando tournament works, but it would be sad if the winner was someone who doesn't actually have a waifu/husbando.

Though I understand the intention, but its not conducive, the Tourney has always been geared towards the Husbandos/Waifus and should continue to be that way.
The Tourney has evolved from the (assumed) venture, that it based on popularity, to what it is now.
Giving a temporary waifu to a participant just looks bad over all and appears akin to espousal-swapping or 'Keying' ~ which was shown in the film Ice Storm.
The only issue I have and I mentioned this several times is that we need prevention of - 'needless biased banter' - which is injected into the Tourney.
Which has occurred many times before. ~ particularly ~ when it has nothing to do with the Tourney itself and is placed as a reason to rant or used a platform for attention and ALL-excessive mongering.
Again mopo, that shite needs to placed on a tight leash, and placed as a condition so it doesn't happen.

I should also mention....
My participation will not be seen... for the reasons I stated prior.
1. Because I am moderator and that is a cause for - 'conflict of interest'
2. Its been used/abused as a - excuse/cause for ranting - which I stated in my (edited) posting.. just look upFor those main reasons, it best that I do not participate in this Tourney or future Tourney's.

It's a spousal tournament. Five extra members without spouses? It's common sense.

I was waiting for this moment..
I recommend (and if agreed upon) that - 2 (separate) Tourneys - be presented ~ this way they're independent from each other and can be used as a (gauge) to see the differences between them.
The Tourney with the 5 ~
The 1st Tourney with the 5 that you wish be represented, this way you can see what the participation sequence is and how it evolves and what needs to be presented as a (adoption) of a temporary waifu/husbando.
However, those waifu's are not to be ones that are presented on the listing (even) clones are not to be presented.
Moderation of that Tourney will be null, meaning it can go on its own pace, and if the specific derailing occurs, then its dependant on the flow if it should continue or it means that it needs to end it.
The Regular Waifu Tourney ~
The usual yearly Tournament that we all know and have participated in.
With the inclusion of active moderation be in-placed, so that meaningless banter, trolling, bias shall not be tolerated, this to prevent derailing and useless page entries which are not conducive to the Tourney.
Moderation of the Tourney will stated at the get go, explained fully before the event begins, this way no one will be surprised by it and of course will be fair.
Again this can be used a gauge to see the differences between the two and (then) can be evaluated to see if a merging is somehow feasible and will work in favour of the Tourney's evolution and growth.
Again: this is just a - 'suggestion' - nothing more..
