OK Husbando's....
The first (batch) of Waifu Currency has been printed, trimmed, adjusted and is ready to be have their place at the ~ "greasy spoon" - later this day to make history!
They are printed on different grade types of paper, this way they/each will remain - "unique" - and will have some texture to it.
I shall take a picture to commemorate the occasion and I shall also let the proprietor know that there maybe more Waifu bills on the way to be added.
Yes, I added the chinese bill because it (just) looks too good not to add.
If you haven't made currency (yet) or are thinking about it.
There's nothing to stop you, other than yourself, or you get added peer pressure from people around you.
If your going to participate, take your time in your creation, just leave a signature of something to indicate that its from you.
If you need assistance, let me know, and I'll see what I can do in order to do so. - I don't mind.
Also, I am working on the - "Merry Currency" - so it will be done and ready for the next batch to be displayed.
For those wondering (if this legal) - yes, it is - as its known as (play money, fake money, non-value) and its obvious that its - ONLY FOR DISPLAY AND FUN - and that it has no value at all.

They're printed ONLY one-sided (for obvious) reasons...
The designs come directly from the Husbando, I just print them out, and concerning difficulties/misunderstandings it's rather obvious that they're not worth anything.

To be completely honest...
I am very sure that many thought/hoped that this topic/thread would - "soon die off" - after being created within a few weeks (thinking) that it was - "just a passing phase" - some sort.
But as you all can see, it still thrives, mainly because many (and mostly due) to the Husbandos that have participated throughout the years.
Now, I can go and create a wall of text of tl;dr posting cover all the Pro and Con aspects of the topic (including) my personal reasons. - but in the long run, it all depends on the individual and what they wish to do concerning this topic.
Bottom line ~
I believe that everybody has the freedom to do whatever they wish to do (as long) as it doesn't harm anyone or themselves in way shape or form.
Many 2D imagery (imagined and not) has inspired many a man and masses for centuries.
WWI-WWII they had the - nose-art - (some sexually explicit) and some not that were seen on aircraft... and no one said anything about it.
In the 50's, 60's though models were used for - (inspiration) - some were real and also imaginary creations, again, no one said anything...
Building on that aspect, throughout the years, it just simply evolved in to what it is today and in its (one of many) forms.
Even today, some nose-art is a prized collectors items and is displayed in museums.
Whose to say what Dakimakura will end up being in the far distant future? - maybe nothing or maybe - it will be a reflection of a generation which will be judged varyingly by the people who observe it.
There will always be detractors, people who will consider it - "creepy" - and - "not for them" - and that's fine and dandy.
Personally, I am more open-minded than most people (because) I look at things from a different prespective.
Yea, I have been critized and mocked... - SEE HERE - but does that detract me from me enjoying myself and who I am? ~ FUCK NO!
Again, it all comes down to YOU and what YOUR comfortable with..
But if your going to - "bow down to peer pressure" - because - "someone" - doesn't like what you like...
Then here's a PROTIP -
just give-away all your figures (or whatever you collect) that you have collected over the years and let someone else take them over.
Because its obvious that you don't need them anyway...

Angie's Restaurant, Fort Hancock, Texas 79839 (I-10) exit Spur 148I mentioned to the proprietor - that it was on a whim - and that I was inspired by the - 2 originals ones that I saw - that I decided to make the first one, and that I placed it on the internet, naming her Restaurant as the place, and where it was located.
After that I made the offer for subsequent ones to be sent to me, that I would print them out and then bring them to her Restaurant for display.
I was also told that if the Waifu Currencies continue to come in, that another pin-up board will be bought just for the new additions.
While I was there, some visitors were looking at the board, though I kept quiet, they thought it was unusual and they asked question about who the characters were.
Seems we have started a trend!
