I have been wondering lately, generally how do you fellow husbandos consider your waifu? I mean, is your waifu:

While Youko is beautiful in every way, her physical characteristics have all the qualities I find to be most fascinating and enthralling (in 2D & 3D). Her psychological quirks and strengths are most endearing.
But - not my favorite character, there are many characters I'm fascinated with and adore in the Underverse that is Anime.-just your personification of your perfect partner?
Youko, is the personification of an individual who has the quirks and qualities that I have in the highest regard, for the ideal significant other of my life. She isn't perfect for any Tom, Dick or Giascle,.... But she is perfect for me.-the actual love of your life?

I suppose I would class Merry as my 'personification of my ideal woman'. I don't know if I could class her as my favourite character of all time because I have a few characters that I really liked but she is defiantly up there as one of the top.
I find that she is just more than a favourite character because although just being a 'character' is nice and all, if she were to be a 3D girl then she would be exactly my type; cute, fun, perfect body (well in my opinion anyway, I prefer smaller boobs, and dat midrif!) etc.
The reason I couldn't class her as the 'love of my life' is because although I really like her and enjoy having her as a waifu she's still just that, a waifu (I know I may annoy some people by saying that but this is just my opinion). I love 2D girls and wish I could live my life as an anime but I haven't given up on reality yet so for now if I am fortunate enough to meet someone as perfect as she is then I might just have to go for the real, tangible version of my ideal girl.
TL;DR I love Merry but I would love her more if she was real.

"ICE PRINCESS" - let me explain something to you....
When a soldier places a picture of his family, daughter, son, baby, or GF in his helmet, to carry with him, does that picture speak to him as well? -
No it physically doesn't. - but it does - "speak" - to him in a - "certain way" - which can only be understood by that particular soldier.
It does give him - "strength" - which is important to him, which guides him, assists him, in order to survive the acts/rigours/decisions of war...
The picture is just a reflected image, a reflection of a moment, a memory...
Its the same concept....
He explained the concept and yet the explanation wasn't seen nor even given a chance.
I really don't care if your bias, hate the topic, the concept, and that - "its creepy" - (your words) or whatever reasons you have regarding this.
But, what it does show me, that for a artist, you lack imagination, and probably just look at life through biased tunnel vision.
I'm not going to go through a tl;dr explanation on life's experiences, age differences, cynicalism, gen-gaps, and what other added variables there are, because sooner or later (you may or may not) experience them.
I already mentioned this many a time, if you don't like the topic, why even read this thread? - why even place a post?

Believe it or not, I respect this mans attitude concerning this, because it goes way deeper than (most) anyone can see.
Yea, we butt heads on several things, clash on opinions, he's annoying to a certain point - however - I do consider him a viable human being because that's what he is, a person who has years of experience verses many who have yet to start and collect those life experiences.
Yea, he's not perfect, nor am I (as I never claimed to be) everyone has faults.
Now, I'm going to - "hold off" - on my reason why I have a Waifu and what it means to have her. - because my reasons are similar and are also more varied.
So seriously - "lighten the fuck up" - you don't need to be - "frozen" - all time in your life you know.

I'm probably not as serious as some people in this thread but Reisen is one of my favorite touhou characters she's cute and I find the personality usually attributed to her endearing.
Before Reisen I had Yuuka Kazami and then Tsuruya.

Well...
Earlier this day, I decided to go out, get a burger, fries, H20, and (of course) coffee, at a nearby greasy spoon, which is located along I-10 in the desert close to where I reside.
I go there once in awhile, to just relax, get out of the house, and to talk with the local Sheriff, deputies, BP, ICE, Forestry Service (including) some of the desert locals that come by there from time to time.
You know... "Socialize!"
Inside this place, is a wall with fake money (including) real currency from around the world....
which gave me the idea initially for the creation of - this...
So, after some thinking, planning, I decided to touch-up the Koto/Waifu currency a bit and go back for some dessert and coffee.
Of course, while there, I presented the currency to the owner, who was more than happy to place - the Waifu - along side the rest of money...
and here is the end result... she is now a permanent fixture amongst the rest for all to see.
the actual location can be seen under the WaifuSo, if your travelling along I-10 (east/west) and come across a small desert town named Ft. Hancock, TX, drop in and look for the currency on the wall (which is on the left as you enter) and you will see her.
There is also a message on it, to prove its me, which states...

The (next challenge) is this... and this is non-mandatory mind you...
If you have a place thats similar, where you can leave "YOUR MARK", or leave an item as a collective to add to the place's history.
