i think I'll skip out on the shower challenge because of various reasons. if you want my opinion on what challenge should be next, i would probably say your waifu's favorite toy or cherished memory of sorts. Like my waifu has her teddy bear/stuffed animal which i find very adorable <3 :].

i have a feeling we did something similar a while back, but we have have done a lot of these challenges before, so i said screw it and went with favorite toy. I couldn't just settle on a toy though considering some waifu don't have such things because of circumstances beyond their control such as Saya (not 100% sure on this either :P). So i added cherished memory for those who wouldn't be able to find an image of their waifu's favorite toy.
To top it all off, it was only a suggestion. nobody really listens to me anyways :P.
I knew what I wanted right away for "cherished memory", but the idea of Suzu being her favorite toy was interesting, I thought.
I don't have a lot to work with yet anyway. Hopefully the second season will help. I know the third novel has more about her.

I've been thinking about this a while too, and I'd like to remove my participation from this thread. I don't take having a husbando as seriously as many people here do, and I think it would be better if I just went on liking Green as a character instead of putting that label on him.
I'm sure it's not a requirement that you be like anyone else.
It's unfortunate the small group of hardcore users make everyone else think having a waifu has to be so serious. Just look at how long the list is, and then think of how many people treat having a waifu like a real relationship. You can probably count them on your fingers.

I know, I just don't feel like I want a waifu or husbando anymore. I respect how certain members treat this subject, but it's not for me.

I don't think it has to be serious. I just think that if I participate again someday, I would prefer it to be serious rather than frivolous. I just don't feel that way for any character right now.

Its seems to me there's some misunderstanding here...
EACH individual has always had and will have a difference of opinion on this topic/subject and that's freely respected without giving judgement about it.
Ndeed there's a small group of us who take it serious enough, but we also know - "the difference" - between 2D and 3D.
I have explained this many a time before, as well as posted the varying reasons (plus my own personal reasons) in many posts in the past several years whilst as a member here.
Because (some) don't want to continue, is what your saying, is that its peer pressure of sort? - that's more of an personal issue actually than anything else.
I don't think (any) decision to or not to continue is a forced one.
It always was and is a individual choice to have a Waifu/Husbando, its the same way when the persons time has come to move on, break away, to step back, take a break, change things and that they no longer have an interest in this topic.
Have they (or anyone) been judged for that decision? - really? (aside from the joking?) - no they have not.
What I do think, in some cases, is that some are - forced to leave - because of the same peer pressure excuse that is used on them and that its not really a personal decision. - there's a BIG difference there imo.

I'll step forward on this, as I am prime example, of enjoying a Waifu in the (possible) context your stating.
I always enjoyed the subject, been married 2x in real life (for those who already know) and now I have a 2D Waifu.
If people think I'm too serious, well (again) let them think that, that's their choice.
The way I always looked at the topic was that it was a way to enjoy a topic/subject w/o being judged for something a person liked, to give them an creative outlet, and let them be imaginative as well.
In a way, a kind of support group of such. because without it or a Group to share the same interests, then the topic would be as it is now on the internet.
I like to think we made it respectable here (verses) the rest of those (so-called) lists that I have seen in other forums and such.
Some of use here, know what it means to be dedicated to a interest, and to continue with that interest without worrying about what people think. - which seems to be a large issue with many.
Throughout the years here, I have never judged a person, either way concerning this subject, because to do so would be hypocritical. - especially coming from me.
It is a personal choice, always has, and it shall always be one.
It's better you get out now than once you're in too deep. Unlike a certain someone.
