Harry Potter crazed fan STABS Comic-con attendee in face!!

  1. Comic-Con went a little insane today when a Harry Potter-loving attendee reportedly stabbed another man in the face with a pen at the convention center's massive Hall H. That alleged attack went down following today's Resident Evil: Afterlife panel.

According to a report from Entertainment Weekly on the incident, San Diego police arrested the alleged attacker after he was subdued by attendees. Another report on the matter from MTV says that the victim in the attack was attempting to hold a seat for a friend.

George Roush, a reporter for Latino Review, captured video of the alleged attacker being hauled off by police, the source of the snap above.

  5. They got in an argument over which house is the best. My intuition tells me the attacker was from Slytherin and I'm guessing the victim was Hufflepuff.

  6. Here I was thinking to myself outside of the star trek colognes, i heart guts plushies, twilight zone talky tina replica doll, tauntaun sleeping bag, and Axe Cop written by a 5 year old and illustrated by a 29 year old about an axe wielding cop riding a t-rex with guns for arms there wasn't much of anything interesting in the comic-con coverage I had seen. I was beginning to wonder where the awesome was. Thank god for nerd rage to deliver something truly memorable.

  8. So is that classified as a "comic-nerd-moment" or a "nigga moment"?

  11. What's the reason for pointing out that he loves Harry Potter? It doesn't really tie into anything.

Gives reason to take popshots at Harry Potter for inciting violence. Even if it had nothing to do with it, it will still be seen as such due to the typical media.
