The blaming is honestly the only good part. I am curious as to whether or not the instigators actually have any connection with either -- or both.
Certainly it's not without precedent for these things to originate on 4Chan and then continue in a more private setting. Both Time's poll and that dating sim came in that way.

If that was really from 4chan and Ebaum's, wouldn't it have been more epic? I heard they're supposed to be "unstoppable" according to my 4chan-obsessed friends -_-; I know for a fact that 4chan gets about as many hits as Gaiaonline does, so I know they're not THAT big.
