Just sayin', ice cream mochi is much better than regular mochi.

  6. I had hamburgers and homemade french fries today.
I ground my own beef from beef shoulder and they were the best hamburgers I've had in a long time.

  7. Made a new pot of vegtable soup with the roast I left in the broiler a tad too long (coz I fell asleep watching animu).

Adding vegtables here and there as they cook down. so far its absorbed 4 bundles of cellery. Love cellery when its cooked down the flava it adds to the stock is delightful.
Can't touch the meat till its simmered another couple days or so. Rehydrating something that has been broiled to de-- uh, inedibility is a pain.

Had some broth, and vegatbles with a bit of toast a little while ago.

Any other restaurant's fries are good compared to In-N-Out's.

  11. I had tons of sushi for lunch. So much nigiri.

I have to say my favorite kind of food is any food. Why choose? I know I don't like Mexican though.

  13. wrote something to antika a minute ago, but jeez, it would be a waste not to brag about it here too.

Just so you know, and just so you hate me, I just finished cooking something.

First, I cooked bacon bits on a frying pan, without oil. The bacon's fat melted, became oil and served to better conduct the heat. After 10 minutes, more or less, I removed the fat that became oil: a desperate attempt to try and make it more healthier. Hah, who am I kidding?

In a separate bowl, I broke some eggs, added some salt, a bit of grated parmesan, and smashed everything together.

In the meanwhile, I cooked some rice. When it was ready, I drained it, put it back into the pot, added bacon, added the eggs, added some more parmesan, some black pepper, and mixed everything together.

Now, I'm waiting for it to cool down, because later I will make small balls of rice, with a heart of mozzarella. Then, every ball will go through batter made of sparkling water and flour, and then it'll be covered in a layer of bread crumbs.

Each balls will then be put into the fridge to rest for a few hours, and then fried in oil for about 6, 7 minutes.

Oh, and of course that's just one type - we have the rice with ragù kind ready for action, as well.

Yes, hate me. Hate me all you can, I will shoulder it and excitedly drink all your tears, and eat 'til I burst.

Did I mention this is just a side dish and there's a lot of pizza to be made, too?

    Did I?

  14. I actually ordered a couple of delivery pizzas last night, one a regular combo deep dish with everything except pineapple, the other was cheese and all the anchovies they could load it up with. The delivery flunkie said that I had cleaned out their stash of anchoives.

  16. So through a skype call, I came up with the genius idea to hit this place up when I'm in SoCal next week. Vegas is what, a four hour drive from LA?
