  1. We have seen lots FAIL galleries in 2008, some were made by professional artist and animation studios and some were made
    by amateurs.

With the success of the recent Touhou Unofficial Anime, I'm thinking if is it true that nobody can escape the fate of fail?

Some scenes that I've found by myself

  3. Holy shisct on a stick.

I'm more focused on the fact that they made a Wikipedia cameo.

It was all in the trailer? Is there no quality control?

  4. as for the reflective table, has it not occurred to you that it might just be polished? polished surfaces can be quite reflective.

  7. i see what ya mean now, sorry about jumping to conclusions there. in the second screenshot, it looks more like there continuing the shadows down over the table, almost as if it was translucent and you were seeing the (rather straight) shadows that are on the ground there.

At the end of the day, its not too bad though.in my 3d graphics programming work, ive done a bit of reflection stuff, must of the time its just not worth doing anything too accurate, you only have so many resources you can thow at a scene, cheap reflections normally look just as good as 100% accurate dynamically updated ones. its just a case of priories.... the could have tried a little harder though, it would probably be less noticeable if it was at an angle :P

  11. The reflection thing seems pretty excusable for such a low-resource project. And the "ghost characters" are just artistic, right? It actually lent the opening a visual novel feel that I liked. Definitely better than those QUALITY character stills from the trailer.

I think the OVA was really well made, considering its origins, and I'd gladly buy a DVD to support the project's continuation, had I a way to do so.

  13. I thought the whole reflection thing was about how the environments are reflected, but the characters are not.
