I miss hearing 'Congratulations' from party members whenever I level up.
RO's changed a lot since I last played.

    I don't recognise this.
I do get congratulated on levelling up. Maybe it is because I've played one of those completely silent, anti-social private servers for years, but playing iRO again feel great to me. Especially the social aspect, I mean. Everyone's sitting around in places and idly talking. And when you ask random people a question, they answer like any normal, courteous person would (except if they're German).

Congratulations. It must feel satisfying to be super powerful and to be able to smite people. I've never played an mmo long enough to get very far, but being almighty would've been awesome.

    Thanks babby♥
Well, not that priests are ever anywhere near almighty, but I admit it does feel good to be in mighty parties.

I played on pRO back when it was still starting up to when the alternate classes were added. For the 3 years I've played, we didn't
have experience multipliers like the ones private servers have.
That's why if a character is lv55 or higher where the grinding takes
longer, party members congratulate players who have leveled up to cheer
them on. I stopped playing because too many people began relying on bots except during sieges.

RO's changed a lot since I last played.

^ By this I mean the user interface.

RO is one of the games where you can sit back and not worry about your character getting killed, unless of course you do this in PvP.

  3. Apparently there's a game for The Great Gatsby.

The first level was more enjoyable than the whole book.

  4. Still enjoying Disgaea, Now I regret having never played the previous ones.
It would have become one of my top fave series. Got the Nisa DLC but haven't beaten the game yet (So much Chara world) Now I'm thinking on getting the two episode DLCs on how Valvatorez and Fenrich met, and the continuing adventures on Fuka and Desco.

    Is it worth it?

Side note: the only reason I was able to turn on my computer this time to type this, is because I can't play today. I need to get my hair straightened and go to the aquarium for a persistent friend XP

  6. Started a doujin ero-RPG called Dragon Prison.

There's not really much of a story since it's all service, but it's refreshing to see an RPG with explicit stuff that isn't snuffed by CERO.

  7. I started playing Kid Icarus Uprising again. It's really fun but hard at the same time.

  8. I just started Katawa Shoujo last night. I like it so far, but I do have an issue, and it's a problem that I have with a lot of VNs. Why is it that they can't program it to go into full screen on a widescreen display without it distorting the image?

because most of them makes the pictures in a 4:3 ratio so when you go into 16:9 or 16:10 ratio you get a distorted image , that is the problem with 2D , the only game that was fine on a widescreen afaik was Steins;Gate

i've even played some older ones where they'd just add the black bars on the side. i'm perfectly okay with that, i just want to have the text bigger so i don't have to sit so close to my monitor.

  14. I've got a question about katawa shoujo. I don't want spoilers or anything, I'm just curious if you are made to go through emi's story first before the others become available? it just kinda seems that way to me for some reason.

  15. Very early in the game, if you decide to go running, you get locked onto Emi's path and can't pursue any other girls.

okay, i mean at that point i wan't really planing on it. just was curious if the game made you play through her story first before you could go through others.

No, it depends on your answers in the first part of the game.

Here's a useful chart if you're aiming for a specific route.

  20. So I finished Emi's path last night.

    SPOILERS:
I only have one question. How dense can this main character be? I mean, you don't want to the mc to be too smart and see everything coming, but honestly, the big twist was that her dad died in the accident. I had that much figured out at the track meet when you first meet Emi's mom. Emi really was a charming character and I like how her dialog was written but the story itself didn't have as much of an impact as i thought it could have.
