      I completely forgot that hordes were a thing. It took me forever to realize why I couldn't find a minun.

      ALSO FUCK SABLEYE. I just spent over an hour trying to find one in granite cave (even though serebii says there's a 20% chance of finding it while walking). After finding like 100 zubat, aron, and abra I finally find one and then it breaks out of all 10 pokeballs that I had left even though it was paralyzed with almost no hp. WHY DO I NEED TO PUT IN SO MUCH EFFORT TO CATCH A FUCKING LAME PIECE OF SHIT THAT I'M NEVER GOING TO USE.

      You could just play the game with a party of three or four pokémon. I do that a lot since the cool pokémon often don't appear until post-game.

      My first box is nearly full of pokemon I've been switching in and out of my party. Most of them are pokemon that I like but would never normally use on my team.

      Also semi-related:
      I wish they would give you the option to start with a non-starter pokemon. I like all the gen 3 starters, but I always feel obligated to keep my starter on my team even when I don't want to use it. This annoys me because there's usually another grass/fire/water pokemon I would also want to use, but I end up ignoring it so my team won't be too unbalanced.

      I got the 4 Jewish pokemon. The Hot destroyer of worlds. I rode on the back of Shenron into space. Capture a tentacle alien. A fighting plant deer. A mew knock-off. A rock fairy. I also ride on the back of a jet fighter pokemon.

      I looked back at the original 151 because I was wondering how many of them are just bad. We really don't need Pidgey AND Spearow, no one likes Clefable, Voltorb and Electrode were always confusing, Rhyhorn is totally generic, Magmar is awful in general, Taurus is boring, and it doesn't make sense why Dragonite is orange and Gyrados is blue. But that's still very few; I was amazed how memorable and well designed basically every other Pokémon is.

      This is pretty much my only real issue with any new pokemon after the originals. There were always some good ones each new generation, but overall the new pokemon never felt as iconic and well-thought-out.
