Also are there any good starter decks that I should get to in order to get some of the essential cards?

edit: I beat a friend's mewtwo-centered deck with a couple of psyducks once. that was pretty funny.

I will. Since I got no one to play with.
VERY good decision on buying Dark Explorers. You get everything you need IN supporterwise: N, Juniper, Cheren. You'll also have an assured 5 EX pokemon. The is a lot of great stuff to work with in that pack as well. You'll need to buy energy of course. You can buy a structure with the preferred type or single for like 25 cents each.

this is a list of every theme deck every released, I also forgot to mentioned that if you really just want to play for fun- They have World Championship decks. They are the decks that won worlds- all completed with the players signature on them, they come out every october, 2 months after Worlds is won by whatever deck they release. You can't use them in tournament play. They are also on the list of theme decks there. The Black and white theme decks start at "Black and White" of course.
If you don't get a Kyogre, but you get a Groudon I'll trade you mines and something else.

TCGO let's you play against the computers with the theme decks, but you need codes from packs you buy irl to get cards to construct a deck to play against other players.

Only the Pokemon one. I freaking love it. Only have one pre-made deck though. And it's kind of cruddy and a guaranteed loser. I thought it was my skills that sucked but once I switched decks with my friend I destroyed him hehe.
The time I won with a gaggle of psyducks was when I made this classmate bring all his pokemon cards to school so we could duel. He took all the good cards, and I was left with nothing but the yellow quackers. He thought he could win. NOPE.jpg
But yeah Pokemon TCG is the shit.

What is your TCGO name? I'm not sure if it's back up yet, but let's play when it is! I can give you some codes to deck build if you need too. I save the ones from the August Dragon Exalted Sneak peak and give it you and Homu if he doesn't start playing by then. If he buys a box of Dark Explorers or any BW set actually, he'll have 36. One comes in each pack. One code gives you a booster point on the TCGO game and you can use booster points to buy any pack available IRL on the game to get cards from them. You can actually buy the booster point cards from sites like troll and toad for 50 cent each too.

IIRC there was a fan translation for the sequel.
I think I'll go download both, because now I really want to play them.

Landrous T-Forme EX is looking real expensive.
There is also some stuff they didn't reveal in the pictures that they translated.
The set doesn't come out til saturday in Japan.
The celebi EX full art looks amazing but it's ability is lacking as of now.
I just got a second hand pokemon black game..
Now this person didn't delete his/her save, and there are quite a few cool pokemon on it. (Lvl 100 groundon, a Kyurem, Rotom, Pilowswine)
Is there any way to keep these when starting a new game?
I mean, Groundon on probably transfered from Ruby, so it would be a shame to loose it.

I've tried nuzlocke challenges a few times on the first two gens. It's so sad when you get distracted by something IRL in the middle of a battle and one of your best pokemon gets defeated while you were inattentively button mashing.
