Pretty long match but this is semifinals for pkmn TCG last weekend
The deck that won in this match is pretty unorthodox, and the deck that won the whole tournament was regarded as one of the bottom most Tier 2 decks.
The term Mewtwo war gets used a lot in the video simply because Mewtwo is psychic and weak to psychic and his attack does 20 for each energy on both your pokemon and the opponents. It cost two of any type of energy to use.
So what happens is, If I play my mewtwo and use the attack, I have 2 energy and now my opponent can just play his mewtwo and with 2 energy and a plus power/3 energy and mine's is KO'd. The match literally went like that for 50 mins.

I was reading the pokemon adventure manga. It's pretty intense. More than half of the gym leaders are Team Rocket, and Pokemon actually die(gasp!). I'm up to chapter 40 something. Red's story is done, and now I'm onto yellow. Blue(JP)/Green(US) is hot. Y'know, the girl. And she's so awesome. A sneaky little vixen.

I'm going to list some cards that are consider staples for any deck. I'm going to link you to the research tower so you can see them and their effects for youself- Trainers are categorized in 3 groups: Supporter- which you can play once per turn and post of the time involving drawing or search for cards;Items- which can manipulate a lot of things and are quite important, you can play as many a turn as you like; Stadium Cards that stay on the field until you or your opponent replaces it with another and both players gain the effects.
All Heart Gold Soul Siver set cards will be illegal from September 1st on. I will not list any HGSS cards although they are a lot of very good ones that are still legal til that day. If you aren't going to worlds- I wouldn't want you to waste your money/time learning them.

Unless you're planning on going to tournaments and exchanging enjoyment for mechanical power, I'd suggest ignoring the wall of text.
Buy singles of a pokemon stage 2 pokemon you like (basic, stage1, stage2), make sure to get multiple copies of the stage 1 and basic forms of this pokemans (generally 1stage2, 2stage1, 4basic). Buy a starter deck that supports your pokmans (you bought charizard, get a fire deck etc.), you could buy 2 for more muscle (dropping weaker cards for stronger cards that come in the deck. Remember: only 4 of each card per deck. This doesnt just mean exact copies, an original pikachu would still count as your new B/W pikachu.Posted 10 months ago # -
