  2. ^____^

    Finally!

Seeing as it's Funni' I don't see them doing anything stupid with this like editing or dubbing it, but time will tell.

But that aside, excellent news ^^

Now is this going to be online only, or will I finally be able to get ahold of DVD for this?

Hopefully Funimation will do a good job, I hope they get Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood done too, I really enjoyed watching the original series in its dub.

this is oen terrifying though...so much taht i can't even imagine it...question, when they took over one piece did they change the voice actors?

on the good side it means dvd's to buy, and possible bonuses :D

i hgihly doubt it since all thats been released so far is the first episode, they usually can't until the full series is released.

Ah, damn, thanks for that, that would usually explain the gap between licensing and series airing.

The other voice actors were contracted to One Pieces studio, plus the original VAs wanted more money to be hired back to play the roles than the series could stand to make.

It's unfortunate, but its also business. I imagine if they could, the studio would have hired the original VAs.

    Also... what's a MAN-dub?

If I recally correctly, they did. For about 1 or 2 manga volumes. Then they realized what they were doing...

Seven Seas was going to release it, but they dropped it when vendors were canceling their orders. (not to mention all the online drama) I don't think anyone's willing to touch the manga or anime with a 10 foot pole now.

As the name suggests. Take a show with a mostly female cast (in this case, Strike Witches), and get a group of guys to dub all the roles :D

Mix the two together, release, sit back and listen to the screams of terror :D
