It's often mistaken for twintailed hair, and I myself was unaware of the distinction until finding this tag. I think that bunching only part of the hair, as in two_side_up, gives a more sophisticated and mature look than twintails.

i don't like drills. i think they just look dumb.
I don't really have a thing for short haired girls or girls with glasses but when you put those two together...
Especially if they have either sporty or mature qualities.
