Edit: Misread the § sign as another 5, so all is good now
Durty, surely German keyboards have the dollar symbol on them...

Those shoulders put the Varia Suit to shame. Why does that mobile suit have such a design? Is it transformable?

No, it just has a hell of a lot of thrusters.
It's a grade-up version of the first mobile suit that utilizes psycommu control and weaponry.
It's also piloted by a loli.
I see. Now that I think of it, the 'wings' of the GINN from SEED look similar. We need more lolis piloting mecha.
Ugh, so annoyed. The Saber mizugi mini-figure I got with this month's issue of Newtype snapped together just fine, but not so with the Konata Izumi Strike Witches figure. That's going to need glue. I put her back in the box for now. *grumbles*

Why would you need glue? Do the parts fit loose?

No, the arms won't stay on because they're practically impossible to get in.
Run the parts under hot water for a bit then try putting them in.

How long is "a bit"? I will have to try this after I get back from LA.
30 seconds? Enough so the plastic starts to become pliable.

Didn't work. The joints were just poorly made. I filed them down enough though to where some glue of some type should work.
So I just hit up one of the Sanseidos here in California, and apparently they're having a 50% off everything sale because all the locations stateside are closing at the end of this month, including the one in Chicago. So I'd get what I can while it lasts. Just passing the word along.
Back from Fanimecon with my hella cool swag~!
Picked up the Kirino and Kuroneko figures for 25$ a piece, they're super cute! Mayoi is really nice too for 35$, got a neat mousepad and some rad pins from Artist alley, and some keychains (bootleg, but it's super hard to find merch for it at all) of Ojamajo Doremi (best anime ever) at swap meet, lastly some Touhou fan books and some Vocaloid artist alley prints :D
That is one awesome haul. Good job on those figures. By the way, do you happen to know who the artist on that Miku print is?

Ugh! No I'm sorry, I just went through the business cards I got and did a quick scour of DeviantArt but couldn't find it >.<
~ received a package in the mail this morning...
THANK YOU SIR!
somewhat unexpected, as I DID expect an item, but not this!

No glue was needed on this one for some reason.
The parts fit like a glove, nice and tight, slight twisting was required, but all in all, no problems.
Once it's placed together and assigned to its base, it will further become wedged-in, so no parts will move.
The propellers do move btw and are delicate.

Went to kinokuniya the other day. Saw the saber and konata. Was almost tempted to buy the konata, but decided against it.

Sweet loot. Looks like a good haul.

I went to bookoff. Bought the 3rd book in the Robotech Sentinels series(it's really old). I haven't read the other ones, but I figure if I really like it, I'll get them off ebay or something.
Also bought Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2011: Over The Nexus for the DS. Used, but it still had the promo cards in the package and the previous owner only played it for an hour(I peeked at their save file).

Right now, I'm on rightstuf trying to find some stuff to buy so my order goes over $49 for free shipping. It's tough work. I'm getting the Zeta gundam movies(all 3 for $15). I think the other thing I'll get is Panty and Stocking.
Also, just browsing at amiami, there are so many touhou figures available these days. Just a few years ago, getting touhou figures was nearly impossible since they were all garage kits. Then Griffon and GSC got production rights and now they're flooding the market.
