That could have something to with it.
Im not really sure what you draw though having a 2b 3b 4b and 6b pencil is useful for shading.

Was planning to get the other types of pencils once I got better. I'm currently drawing environment/scenery areas. Sometimes animals.

This one would be better. You're probably never going to use something harder then 2h. Having like a 2h HB B 2B 4B and 6B pencil would cover most of what you need.
And this is a pretty good book for drawing animals.

Don't worry about pencils, all you need is a normal #2. If you're an absolute beginner, read Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.

Altered the poses a bit. I think I'll color it tomorrow.
I think I'll just get a little farther in Grisaia no Kajitsu. Maybe I'll still like this drawing in the morning.
EDIT: I think I may need to fix some fat fingers... that'll wait for tomorrow too I guess.

I am trying to improve my skills to get ready for a job. I tried using Paint Tool Sai and I feel much better using this than Photoshop.
This is a very rough sketch fanart of Yuzu Aihara from the manga Citrus. Hopefully, I will have some time to outline and color it.
