Okay, I'm trying to do this one with as few anatomical references as possible. You know, to test what I've learned. It's some guy on dA's OC an apparently she wears her pants around her thighs so don't bother worrying about that. I'm just interested in the anatomy aspect.

Well,t he face is one thing, but most noticeable to me is the length of the arms. Usually, when standing straight, the wrist is just about level with the bottom of the crotch area, girl or boy. And aside from the anatomy, the folds in the clothing look unnatural.

Everything's rough on it right now, place names, lay lines, landmasses really everything!
I have other layers to the map too for fauna distributions and tectonic plates, but they are SUPER ugly. I doubt I'll ever show them. XD

I got some weird ideas for pics in the last couple days. I can't wait to be done with work so I can get back home to draw. I need to pack my sketchbook or tablet next time. I'm hoping I still remember how to draw... It has been since December, at least.

This, and it also feels more rewarding knowing you've creating something out of nothing. Most of the stuff I do recently is without reference, I only use reference when I'm practicing figures.
