I wonder myself. When I looked at your DA gallery, it just crossed my mind for no real reason. Perhaps because you reminded me of someone.
It was a rhetorical question and I wasn't serious, so feel free to ignore. lol

And that someone is?
About the drawing, I don't just photomanip to edit, I usually change the base drawing, rescan, paste parts and recolor.
Maybe I'll get to it.

When drawing in photoshop I often end up using the liquify to bend lines or scale something, and it often ends up becoming blurry :/ so I think your approach is better, but it doesn't hurt just using it a little bit :)

And thx Geno, here's some more realism :>

Charcoal?
just pencil, drew it on some envelope, it came out pinkish due to my mobile camera, but that's sort of cool because then I could edit out the color to make the drawing of the paper white, which really makes it separate from what it's drawn on and make it pop.
It was hard to tell from the photo. It's good.
I tried using the first one as a wallpaper. The wrinkles gave a weird effect.
I know I'm going off topic for this though.
Haha you flatter me too much :(
I don't flatter. It's just that I found the eye being in the center and the wrinkles on the paper produced a different effect. You have good hands. take care of those.
I should post my stuff too sometime. Quick work done on notebooks ok?
I was annoyed by the simplistic legs and joints, so I changed them. As you can see, I'm still changing the near knee. I still need to... shade / texturize trees more / better, replace tree tubes with non-fail prototype tubes, add some more chest junk, highlight hand, carve the far shoulder out, finish the legs and knees, re-balance face and hair shading, finger joint details no one will ever really see... arrrgggggghhh... tons of crap. Now the ground is bugging me somehow. It's missing something...
It looks good to me.

Thanks. I have just been working on it for a long time because I am OCD about my pictures, and I am hungry so I'm getting frustrated.
Oooh, that's it, the ground has the same color values all the way to the background; it should darken somewhat as it nears the horizon due to contrast against the sky.
First day of Life Drawing was today. The teacher wants us to use this approach with which the drawings end up looking like 3D models; the results are cool, but the technique to get there is odd. Each drawing was 7 minutes, I believe.
The last one I hated so I started over.

Fucking wireframes... lol.
I couldn't last long learning this on my own. I'm just not patient enough for it.
Explains why I have difficulty grasping form though,
Oh my God. What happened to your face?
