My gf birthday is this week. We usually draw something for each others birthdays. And since she's in China now there's not much else I can 'give'.
Still working on the sketch a bit. But I want to start adding colours soon.

A request? Hmm... I'm not very fond of requests. I'm really bad with expectations. :C But I like you, so here's a deal: I'll hear your request (but that's no promise that I'll actually do it yet!) in exchange for advice on the following situation. (everyone else who reads this is free to give advice too, of course.)
About eight weeks ago, a girl on deviantART asked me to do an art trade with her. I don't really know her, but she follows my art and occasionally leaves a comment or adds one of my drawings to her favourites. I said "when I've got summer break, okay?". I had completely forgotten about the art trade since, but a few days ago, she suddenly popped up again and asked "Do you have summer break now?". I don't want to do an art trade with her at all, but I felt sort of obliged to accept because I'm afraid I implied a bit of a promise back when I told her to wait until my summer break. (Plus, turning people down is pretty hard! Especially now that she's come back for this art trade after eight weeks. She must really like my art, which is quite a big compliment...)
What do you think is the best way for me to tell her I want to cancel the art trade? I'm hoping for some serious advice! I sure love getting advice to the effect of "kill her and write an apology on her back with your erect penis dipped in ink", but actual advice would be a little more useful. But if there really is no other way, maybe I'll just have to go through the stress of doing the art trade after all...
Alrighto, if you come up with some good advice, I'll hear your request.

Oh, I have an idea and I'll draw it in pencil, cause that's as far as I'll ever get regards illustration xD
I'd like you to digitalize it, if you want to. Or even anyone here who feels like doing it! I didn't mean to putt you under pressure~ I just though you'd like to since you like Hyouka too.Hmm~ about the art trade, here's my advice: You barely know her, so does it really matter if you just say you're actually busy doing -whatever it is, anything work-related should sound convincing enough- so you can't really take any requests atm (except for mine <3).
Now if you want to tell the truth, you could but you'd obviously lose a fan.If I were you I'd be really excited about it. Would it really be that much of a bother to do the art trade?

You know what, I guess you're right. I suppose I don't have to do it straight away, either. So maybe I'll just give it a break and leave it for when I'm really inspired to make my part of the art trade great.
Alright Mai babby. If it's Hyouka, I'd at least love to see your pencil drawing. That request sounds interesting.
