You seem to be improving quite a bit for every drawing you make!

I think it's interesting, though I don't have the slightest clue what i'm looking at, lol.

Thank you! I haven't really found my own "style" in drawing so I draw a little of everything...
ALSO, I colored it! Boop!
I need to improve my coloring skills lol kindergarden kids do a better job.

Aye! Lore wise; her gene have been tampered with in "packets" (I guess I can call them that) so only certain human traits are altered. Her body largely resembles how she would've looked as a human.
Art wise; Those things look weeeeiiiird here, don't they? I might give up on them and switch her gender if I can't fix them soon. XDD

It's a Lionheart Merrow expelling a big "gulp" of water from her chest cavity.
I'd like to think she's preparing herself for something...

I can't believe how clean you made the lineart after saying you had so much trouble with it. Great job.
^
I didn't even have a chance to say anything.

I know I'd scream like a bitch if I met that one IRL.

It's still very Clumsy.
And the coloring is so bleeergh. I want to learn to color and shadow so it looks more reals. Like @sakimichan or @nebezial, I love how they color their stuff.
And I don't have that much patience to learn it ATM.
I'm drawing on this huge piece of paper. Makes some things so much easier..
But still I am stuck at the face, eyes and such BLEH..
My sis is going to the last big thing they do in her class before she finishes middle school, and she let me do her make-up. Doing somebody else's make-up is bitchhard and I hate it.
But I liked the result. Even though she looks pale since I had to use my foundation... x)
Lilsis the Destroyer.
Okay, welp, I threw around some of the shoulder muscles. That should make it a little bit better...
I'm totally ignoring the boob and neck placements though. We're gonna just pretend those look right.

I looove it! My only critisism is that some of the shadows are wonky.
Like the ones on the upper arms where there is a shine and then her right boob has the same strange skin discoloration.
@Jaku: TEACH ME COLORING, WTF that looks amazing :(

Ah, some of it became like that with the bakground. I was too lazy to find out way. Without it, it looks like this:
I finished the lines for this. i still have to do the background. i think i'm going to end up too much detail when it comes to drawing the ships and stuff in the background. I already went and looked up pictures of the akagi and the yamamoto. so hopefully i can draw the well enough for people to recognize them even though they're going to be really small in the picture.

The tool you used to colour the skin with must have been partially transparent. It's possible that you had a setting enabled where the opacity of the colour is influenced by how much pressure you put on your tablet pen. If a part of the colouring is transparent, it's going to look different on white than on other colours. To fix it, you could just brush over it some more with a completely opaque brush.

Hm~
Well personally I use lots of layers, and I never fully erase anything. If I don't like it, I make it transparent or put another layer over it. As a final touch, I'll often put in extra shading at the end by putting a transparent layer over the area I need to murk up. (I did that to those gills up there, and that's why the colors have blended together the way they have.)
It's not the best technique out there, but... ~whatevs!
