  3. Anatomy assignments; the only drawings I've really done in the past couple months that haven't been for my animation final.

I'm REALLY disappointed I didn't have a chance to finish the leopard.

Yeah, the leopard looks pretty great. I would have liked to see it finished too.

  5. I've been curious for a while now.
What year are you into your animation course by the way giascle?

Seems like anatomy homeworks are first year things right ?_?

I'm just finishing sophomore year. Unfortunately, Anatomy isn't taught in freshman year, and it should be.

Well maybe they are thinking that animation courses are more into the motions and being able to perceive objects in space... so they thought that thoroughly in the first year first. Then after some mastery of that, anatomy is thought.

Work in Progress. I picked uped a pretty good idea for a drawing on /a/ in 4chan

They suggested F/SN Rider and F/Extra Rider Riding F/Zero Rider.

WIP of that, almost finished with it ;)

I... don't think that's what they meant by "riding."

No, they just don't know what they're doing.

The new picture looks great so far, but his head is tiny and his arms are too long, even exaggerated.

Well he is Iskandar of Fate Zero. He's a freaking huge guy and seeing that he is still human his head size should be about the same size as other people, just that his body is so frigging huge that his head looks tiny in comparison.
Human heads tend to have roughly the same volume even across races.

But I can see what you mean by the long arms. Been too occupied trying to fit 2other characters in his arms I did not notice it. Thanks. I think I can still make some quick fixes on the arms. Increasing the size of the limb closes to the hands should do the trick.

    ahehehehehe

Actually I'd like to share to all of you one of the most simple and straight to the point and most effective instructionals about coloring EVAR
    O_o
    BEHOLD!

    Note:
Values = Lightness or darkness of the shade

**The Values you use help "carve" out your drawing.
Think of light as something that envelopes and curves around objects but evertytime it curves the lightness decreases (aka goes darker a bit)

i especially like this one. i never really thought about the part farther away from the light source as being actually lighter. but i guess it makes sense
