  1. I never thought of taking pictures of drawings.

    This is certainly fascinating. I may post something tomorrow...

  2. My art teacher is always like "Just take a picture and upload it" while I'm thinking "Erm well the quality won't be as good as opposed to an actual scan so editing in Photoshop will be a pain".

    Just hardcore vector your lines. Drawing with a mouse is quite doable.

    Geez, Homu. You're helpless.

    Ok, here's what you do:
    1. Get a mouse (a rat or other small rodent may not suffice), a pencil, a piece of paper, some string, some more string, and a piece of cheese.
    2. Use one piece of string to tie the pencil to the mouse's side with the point facing downwards.
    3. Tie the other string around the piece of cheese.
    4. Place the mouse (with pencil attached) on the paper.
    5. Make sure the point of the pencil is touching the paper.
    6. Dangle the cheese in front of the mouse.

    If done correctly, the mouse should pursue the cheese dangling in front of it, while dragging the pencil point across the paper. Move the cheese in the direction you wish the mouse to go.
    Quality of drawing may vary.

  11. except mice don't eat cheese

    Get a bamboo,... but if you can't, try using a pencil and scan you finished product when you're done.

    But if you insist on drawing with your mouse. You will have to enlarge you pallet to its maximum, and draw one pixel at a tiem.... of course it will take forever to drew a stick finger.

    Today we have AGUMON!!!

    My scanner is broken so a photo will have to do.

    Ahh the memories. Digimon has been my go to draw series of my elementary years. Good times, goood times.
    Pretty good job on agumon, necks a bit too long though specially for agumon.

    @Bamboo Wacom Club
    T_T Do you need to have a bamboo Wacom to be in it? :(

    @Newfags
    First one has good coloring as stated earlier. Very crisp and defined.

    2nd newfag: (Hang on there, just keep drawing.) Some general tips on drawing. Think of everything in perspective. Think of boxes or oblongs in space and put everything inside box like contraptions (ex. arms in boxe, body in boxes, head in boxes.

    Think of minecraft. Build those boxes first and be sure they are in perspective. After that, you may now proceed to draw the stuffs inside the boxes, try oblong shapes inside them, then define the muscle definitions and/or clothing :)

    The process of drawing is from vague/blurry general shapes into defined outlines. Kind of like computer processing.

    P.S.
    Oh and I made a Chariot fan-art yay~ I made some liberal modifications on her outfit to make it a bit more inline with Huke's art-style. The one in the TV series is a bit too mecha rather than the organic-mecha design that huke has.
    As per-always, uploading the straight from ipad version and the contrast changed one.

    Pretty good, Anorheul. Nice perspective! The front wheel doesn't look exactly round though.

    Thanks^^
    Yeah... I noticed that about 80% into progress and I kind of did not bother anymore and tried to just go with it T_T
    It was already fully shaded an shiz and merged :(

    Sucks to only have 6 layers to play with on sketchbook app... And this is why I'm gonna get an ipad3 and hopefully the sketchbook app gets a bump in the number of layers available.

    And why the heck don't some kind of company make a pressure sensitive wi-fi and/or bluetooth enabled pen tool for the ipad already T_T
    Like I'm really imagining it as easy to implement.

  20. I liked Agumon in Digimon the Movie where his neck was long. I'm trying to imagine Digimon with real world elements (note the webbed fingers). If I could add details I'd add some light scale effects.

    I'll post Greymon later.
