It would make for a great vacation island. But it would be depressing if japanese people were gone since they're quite an entertaining bunch, in many ways.

They should bring otaku from the whole world into the country to fill up the population and install english as second main language.
This will help long enough to gen-engineer catgirls/boys for breeding purposes. The population will rise again and soon take over the world. Then earth will be renamed Otakutopia.

Yea but we all know whats gonna really happen, they gonna have to be taken in. then 20 years down the road from that time line they gonna wanna create new japan on someone elses land. but hoping the world is united and fighting aliens on others worlds before this happens.
