You can use this thread for AMVs.
The future of Internet communication has become scarier now that any fat basement dweller can physically show themselves over the net talking as Miku Hatsune. lol
Their voices would give them away... until an efficient live voice pitch morphing software comes anyway.

Outlaw Star predicted people using CG generated avatars in real time see @6:08 where the guy talks as a cartoon mouse.
The first use of a real time generated cgi controlled by a person like a puppet even predates Outlaw Star.
Moxy in the Moxy show was controlled by the actor waring a special suit and the character was rendered on high end SGI work stations in real time mimicking his movements.

It's still in development, so it won't be out for at least a few years more.
In fact, I won't be surprised if someone seizes copyright of this software first and either:
1. delay the release
2. charge big bucks for 'license', a la Adobe
Why? This shit, if perfected, can bring down other high-tech motion capturing appliances that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
He doesn't seem interested in making it work for a specific device only either, because one of his aims is to make it work for communication for everyone.
I like these Classic Game Room videos.
Hooray the new one is out.
