Shit like this is exactly why I hate competitive online gaming. For example, despite having more people on my 'friends' list in SSFIV than any other game I play online, perhaps half of them have grown to hate me because they perceive most of my wins as unfair due to lags and suspicions of cheats. This is despite me not sending them any hatemail after losing a match due to blatant input lag, because they're always right and I'm always wrong... sigh... It's not my fault that all you fuckers are too lazy to look at frame data and memorize which move gets over which.
I prefer Left 4 Dead for this very reason as well. Save for modes where you have to compete, the game centers mostly on helping each other survive the endless hordes and the occasional Special Infected who won't let you go until your friend saves you. The guys who do befriend me on Steam are the nicest online gaming buddies I ever had.

I know what you mean. Yes. That's why I almost only played zombies in Black Ops, except when some friends invited me to an online match.
There are so many moments when I end up going: 'What? How's that.. even possible?'.. Anyway I still keep playing, because I like how online play makes things unpredictable. I can't stand doing something when I already know how the enemies, etc, are going to respond.
