The really "Firestorm" is that a group of people in the industry who control (now Controlled PAST Tense) the flow of info were basically colluding & deciding "what was COOL & What was to be INTENTIONALLY Ignored" - thus shaping & manipulating the landscape to suit their own ends & egos.
NO one likes to be 'talked down to' or manipulated but you always struck me as someone who would abuse "Power" or Influence if you had it. If one day you woke up & suddenly media sides were all painting Anime fans as perverts (or the other "P" word) You would distance yourself SOO Fast from this site & medium- You'd be the kind of guy that would be fanning the flames & cheer the enemy on just so they'd like you (just my opinion).

I've always been against "Hidden Agendas" & Cultural Engineering - Once they control Gaming - they will come after Anime. It's Already happened to Comic Books (in the last 10 years)- I know because I was there. There was all this "Politically Correct" bullshit in DC & Marvel comics & now they're switching 'genders' & changing ethnic backgrounds and revisioning Heroes to be more 'Diverse' as oppose to making NEW Heroes that were born "Diverse"- they need to CHANGE what already exists....and they need to start these skirmishes to see "Who speaks out"- so they know who to Target (who might pose a Problem to the 'Agenda').

If GamerGate is as all-encompassing as you think it is, please go to any website covering Alien: Isolation and show me the flood of comments saying their opinions can't be trusted (any more than usual, because, like I said, people who truly care about game journalism think the major sites are jokes). I mean, it surely can't be an extremely vocal fringe group who thinks GamerGate is anything important, can it?
