In my opinion, without a doubt Youtube. Youtube is the biggest attention whoring website on the Internet. There are people on youtube with millions of subscribers. And there are vloggers (basically people who post video blogs) of their life. They post every minute aspect of their lives on youtube to show to their thousands and, in some cases, millions of fans. I used to attention whore on Youtube. I used to make Youtube videos. And I had several thousand subscribers, so I used to be an attention whore on Youtube. So I know from personal experience that Youtube, without a doubt, is the biggest attention whoring website on the Internet.
People like RayWilliamJohnson and TheAmazingAtheist have thousands and, if not, millions of fans. These youtube celebrities oftentimes suffer from a massive level of unwarranted self-importance. They think they are much better than other people because they are much popular than everyone else. Well they are just as pathetic and mediocre as any average joe on Youtube. They are just normal people who are just very skilled at attention whoring.
Then there is Facebook. Facebook is also for attention whores. People try to show every moment of their meaningless and pathetic lives to their friends on Facebook. Facebook is less of an attention whoring website than Youtube, in my opinion, because you can only have 5000 friends on Facebook, whereas you can have millions of subscribers on Youtube.
Then there is DeviantArt. Also for attention whores, but unlike Youtube and Facebook, people, who are popular on DeviantArt, actually deserve the attention they receive. The popular people on Deviant Art actually produce high-quality artwork, so they deserve the attention that they receive.
On the other hand, many youtube celebrities produce shit content. Their content isn't any better than the content of non-popular people on Youtube, so the only reason they are popular is because they are good at attention whoring. Many popular channels on Youtube produce horrendously shitty content, and the only reason they are popular is because they are good at attention whoring. These people are masters of attention whoring, but they otherwise produce shitty content. A good example of a popular channel that produces shit content is MeganLeeHearts. That girl produces the most asinine and retarded videos imaginable, and yet she is very popular because she is a MASTER at attention whoring.
Other than Youtube, Facebook and Deviant Art, can you think of any other sites that are prominent for their attention whoring?
