I saw the commercial for Destiny. It just didn't look very interesting to me.

I passed on Destiny but this guy doesn't know how to play. First, the "shield guys" have a vulnerability to a certain element type, which his weapon obviously didn't have. Second, the best loot is acquired from loot chests which are hidden. Exploration was a fan favorite activity in Halo so if he loved that game so much he would have done the same in Destiny.
But Bungie did drop the ball on matchmaking for raids. It was the same story with Firefight in Halo ODST and they obviously changed it for Halo Reach so I don't know why they went backwards.
Has anyone tried the PS3 emulator called RPCS3?
Yah but so far there is no X86 CPU fast enough to emulate a Cell.
Cell has something like 230Gflops of peak performance which is faster then an i7-4770K.
The host machine running an emulator must be much faster then the target.
Maybe if somehow SPU functions were handed off to the GPU maybe games that used API calls vs directly accessing hardware could run faster.
Too bad Macs are not PPC anymore as maybe one of those IBM Power7 chips could do it.
PPE instructions might be able to run natively in a VM and the other cores could emulate the SPUs.
Power7 chips which have 99.36 Gflops per core might be just fast enough to run SPU emulation at full speed.
There appears to be an Xbox 360 emulator called Xenia, though that one is not quite stable. Is there an emulator for the first Xbox?
Bought a tablet for osu (and drawing). It's a lot nicer than a mouse. Though I'm still terrible at osu.
Playing a Crusader Kings 2 mod called Britannia 479AD - The Winter King (note that this is not my playthrough; it's just an illustration). It's set in late Arthurian Britain, which is an excellent setting: in the south, the Teutonic Anglo-Saxons are fighting with King Arthur's native Britons for control of what would later become England and in the north, the Irish Gaels are fighting with the native Picts for control of what would later become Scotland. Both struggles could go either way at this point, so there's a real opportunity to change the course of history without having to resort to bullshit.
There are a few other interesting aspects, too. There's conflict between Christianity and the old Norse and Celtic pagan religions; again, this could go either way. There's the collapse of the Roman Empire in Gaul and the struggle for control between the Romans, Visigoths, Franks, Burgundians and Britons, there are five kingdoms warring in Ireland and there should be Viking invasions and the potential creation of the Norman kingdom later in the game.
ATM, I'm (unsurprisingly) playing as an Anglo-Saxon committing genocide against the Britons while doing my best to keep my kingdom's religion as Norse instead of Catholic. Later on, I might try playing as a Pict; they seem cool.
My only problem is that it's the only early Dark Ages mod for CK2 and it's set entirely in the British Isles and northern Francia. I'd like to see a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern mod for this period; you could re-form the Roman Empire, stop Islam dead in its tracks in the Middle East or north Africa or play as a Zoroastrian Persian emperor with a realistic change of winning. Le sigh...
These ArcheAge queues are murderous. I've been in the queue for almost 4 hours.
I really wanted Asagi's card, which was the only reason why I kept playing the Taimanin Asagi card game until now, but perhaps it's time for me to accept the fact that I ain't getting one chance in hell for that without paying money.
So today I started playing Saint's Row 3. Decent game.

Ratted me out bitch
Still on Saint's Row 3.
...The more I play this game, the more it felt like when I was watching Mortal Kombat 9 gameplay and story mode on Youtube; Why is it that Western society view these games as completely OK for release on home consoles while those that try to put sex - even consensual ones - instantly gets outrage?
Some people don't like sexual material in their games, but some people also don't like violence. No one has any problem chopping their opponents to bloody mass of flesh in MK9. Nobody bats an eye over the mindless killing sprees one can do towards the civilians in SR3 or GTAV(at least, within the gaming community). Let's not forget that those games let players become villains. Yet, The Witcher games had to remove sex scenes from the console versions before they could port it.
The children? If they are all easily influenced by shit they play, the schools would be a fucking war zone. You are a bad parent anyway if you don't restrict them from getting their hands on those games anyway. Why is this logic ignored when talking sexual content?
I'm willing to bet that some, if not all, the developers responsible for the follower system in Skyrim had some thoughts about adding explicit sexual content but couldn't voice it due to political correctness issues. Having been through the 3D porn games scene a while back(Illusion, Sexvilla mod, Oblivion/Skyrim mod), a genre still offering content as scant as they were in 2001 despite all the tech advances with 3D rendering, animation and programming, is pathetic.
Christian values. Violence = OK, sex = taboo.

Xeon. But be wary, it's about as unstable like the 360 emus out there.
Honestly, you're better off soft-modding an OG Xbox. Aren't they dirt cheap compared to a used Playstation 2? Just install a CFW, get a 500GB notebook HDD, and then plunder the seven seas. I discovered a lot of hidden-gems that were exclusive to the JPN and Asian market.
