Things happened and I'm now renting 65m² of a super+++ appartment, two floors for myself, all floors, walls, ceilings, windows etc heat insulated and soundproof, since the renovations it went through finished in August, so it looks new and shiny. No furniture but "super equipped" kitchen.
Around it are everything one could need, except no bank but oh well. Quiet, far from the road, near a metro (or subway or whatever you want to call them). No more 1 hour travels from and to work everyday but 15 minutes!

... I actually forgot you could do that :/ Might give it a try, although I've been advised against Ikea stuff, and that's about the only store I know for those things

And Lens, it sounds like you need a flatmate to share that nice apartment with. Perhaps someone to play with your dog while you work all day. I know someone who might be interested in that rôle.
