Mom called.
Talked about the usual stuff, like my father's condition, what she did with my two sisters who went to visit them, the ongoing landgrab attempt by government appointed contractors on my late grandma's land, etcetcetc...
And apparently she found some porn shit I had sketched during my unemployment days(right after graduation) and hid in my room. She started the topic with an almost deceivingly indifferent tone; considering she knew what my obsession was back then, she was all like 'oh I knew you'd draw things like that too sometime' and 'that's a phase everyone goes through'.
...Then came the sternly spoken warnings of disowning me from the family if they find that I do that for a living("selling pride and honor by drawing filth"), and that I should get married quick.
Asian moms... sigh.

It's not far-fetched at all if it turns out that my apparent lack of talent and luck in the art business is due to her using black magic to supress those and prevent me from delving into porn business. Ironically, I only ever considered drawing porn to make money because I thought they're the easiest route to take, given my level at the time(2011). The only thing stopping me was legal concerns.
