If you move to France, you only have to work 35 hours a week...

Or become self employed at something that makes good money such as consulting.

Still if I had a choice between a job in France or East Asia I'd take the one in France because of the work week and the fact I'd be treated as a human being.

  8. Yo Rosalena, since you're from/have family in St. Louis I gotta ask. One of my best friends/coworkers is from St. Louis, and she knows I'm likely to leave the Bay Area in the next 2-3 years, and she keeps saying that I'd love it there. So let me ask you, how do you like St. Louis? I understand that it can be hot as balls on monday and then be snowing on thursday?

I fucking hate heat and humidity, my life was misserable in Texas thanks to heat, humidity and allergies, so how'd I fare in St. Louis?

    Then I choose east Asia.

I say give up and throw it away.

Gramps used it back when he was still a student. My aunts will fucking kill thrice if I throw it out. It's also made from narra and is immune to local termites.

  11. In that case take a sander to it and paint it with polyurethane or similar.

Someday when I get me a sander. I can do it manually, but I don't have the time for it right now.

  13. Well doing it manually would do less damage and may be the only option for any parts with carvings.
Oh I forgot you better wash it in a bleach solution and let it dry before painting it.

  15. Coming back to and driving with red light cameras and other traffic cameras in nearly every common intersection in town has never made me so fucking nervous.

  16. I hate those things.
I'm surprised more people do not vandalize them.

and i got a lot less then i expected...

I should probably ask for more hours but I really don't want to work more night shifts. Maybe I should actually go to school or something.

  19. Anybody has or used an e-cig?
I started smoking in Singapore and couldn't really drop it when I got back home. Though I smoke a bit less now, only 3-4 a day which used to be up to 8, it's still bad. And sometimes a bit expensive, especially in the long haul.

I saw a shop had a 50% discount on a complete set, but I really know nothing about e-cigs. The brand was Gamucci.

  20. You shouldn't smoke, it's bad for your health and your wallet. Just how many vices did you pick up in Singapore?
